Η Πέγκυ γεννήθηκε στην Ελλάδα και μεγάλωσε στην Καλιφόρνια. Σπούδασε Ψυχολογία και Αγγλική Φιλολογία, με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Συμβουλευτική Ψυχολογία και Διδακτορικό στην Εκπαίδευση από το Bath University. Είναι κάτοχος MBA και έχει εξειδίκευση στη Σχολική Ηγεσία από το Harvard University. Είναι Πρόεδρος των American Community Schools of Athens. Η ψυχοθεραπευτική της εκπαίδευση είναι στην Αντλεριανή Ψυχοθεραπευτική Προσέγγιση καθώς και ανήκει στο δυναμικό της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Αντλεριανής Ψυχολογίας από το 1992. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε φορείς και προγράμματα για τη στήριξη των νέων σε παγκόσμιους οργανισμούς.
