Kostas is a psychiatrist - psychotherapist. In 2001 he started his training for the psychiatric specialty, first for one year in neurology and then 3.5 years in psychiatry. He worked for 3.5 years in the municipal clinics of the municipality of Athens where he dealt with the mental health of vulnerable population groups as well as community people at the level of primary mental health.
At the same time, he worked with the anti-drug organization in rehabilitation programs and since 2009 he has been working at Okana as deputy head of a rehabilitation unit.

Apart from the field of addictions, he has been trained for four years in systemic psychotherapy, one year in cognitive psychotherapy and two years as an observer in psychodynamic psychotherapy of a group of borderline patients.
She has been a member of the ICPS Academic Staff since 2013, specializing in psychopathology.
