She has also been trained by Gordon Hellas in Parent Effectiveness Training according to the model of the American Clinical Psychologist Dr. Thomas Gordon.
In addition, she is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals (EFIT) by the EFT Greek Network, in order to obtain certification as a therapist for EFT individual intervention.
In addition, she has completed trainings in fields such as “Medical Psychology” (Specialization Degree), “Couple and Family Counseling and Therapy”, “Mental Health: Traumatic Events & Loss/Grief Management” (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) as well as annual programs in “Therapy through Art”, “Child Psychology – Child Psychiatry” and “Certified Training in Counseling, Life Coaching and Mentoring” (University of the Aegean).
She has previous undergraduate (B.Sc.) studies in Business Administration and Management from the University of Piraeus with extensive experience in Finance, Project Management, operational planning, implementation and management of co-funded projects in the framework of NSRF Operational Programmes, as well as in the development and application of quantitative and qualitative research methods and tools.
Dimitris teaches in Postgraduate Programmes (Master) M.Sc. Person-Centred Psychotherapy, in Undergraduate Programmes (Bachelor) at the University of Central Lancashire as an instructor at ICPS College. He also works as a supervisor both in ICPS College programmes and privately in individual/group supervision.
She works privately as a Psychotherapist with adolescents and adults while facilitating personal development groups. She has worked with the Alzheimer’s Day Center, providing psychological support to the relatives (caregivers) of Alzheimer’s patients.
He is a founding member of the Panhellenic Association of Person-Centred and Experiential Approach Professionals (PEPCPE) and recently elected member of the Tripartite Audit Committee.
