Nizetta was trained in painting and decorative art (degree from the Vakalo school). She earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Clinical Counseling Psychology (Tufts University, Boston, USA).
She worked with groups of children with intellectual disabilities, using art as a means of communication and socialization. Her experience includes working as a psychologist in a rehabilitation unit for people with eating disorders (psychogenic anorexia/bulimia) and substance abusers (McLean Hospital, Boston), also in a psychosomatic pain rehabilitation unit (Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, Boston).
He has coordinated seminars on the therapeutic quality of art, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in various cities in Greece, for teachers of special education (Volos 1985, Thessaloniki 1986, Kozani 1987, Piraeus-Argyroupoli-Chios 1987).
