Evi Bitsakou

B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.

Evi has completed her undergraduate (1998-2001), postgraduate (2001-2002) and PhD (2003-2007) studies in the UK and has worked as a Post Doctorate at the University of Southampton. Her expertise is in Developmental Psychopathology, with a particular focus on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
When he returned to Greece, he collaborated with various public and private institutions. On a clinical level, she has collaborated with the Mental Health Center of Peristeri (2002-2003), Merimna – Society for the support of children and their families in death and life-threatening illness (2008-2021), Social Service of the University of West Attica (2010-2011), Arsi – Psychological Center for Developmental and Learning Difficulties (2015-2018), SOS Children’s Villages (2018-present), Exelixi Zois (2019-present) and has been running her private practice since 2010.
Her professional work focuses on children, adolescents and adults experiencing post-traumatic stress, developmental trauma, loss/mourning as well as relationship and behavioral issues. Her scholarly work has been published in international journals and books, and she also lectures and gives presentations.
