Manos Tsalamanios

Manos is a Child-Adolescent Psychiatrist, Director of the Department of Child-Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic of the General Hospital “Asclepion Voula” (G.N.A.V.) and Director of the Psychiatric Department of the Hospital with organizational, clinical, psychotherapeutic, educational, research and supervisory work.
She has specialized in “Child Psychiatry” at the First Psychiatric Clinic of the H.C.P.A. and in particular at the Community Mental Health Center of Byron-Kaisariani. She was trained in “Family Psychotherapy” at the Research University Institute of Mental Health (R.U.U.I.M.H.I.). She received postgraduate training in “Adolescent Psychiatric Psychopathology (research and psychotherapy)” at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Sciences, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston/TX, USA (2013-2014), along with postgraduate training in OCD at the Houston OCD Program.
He has worked as a full-time researcher in the pan-European COSIP (Children of somatically ill parents) survey, while he is an active member of the CRISIS-HOPE (CoRonovIrus Health Impact Survey-Hellenic Covid 19 Impact Survey) research group.He was a research associate at the University of Athens University Hospital of Child Psychiatry, as well as at the A’ and B’ University Pediatric Clinic.
She has many years of experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, particularly in the training of child-adolescent psychiatric residents. She is a regular member of the Selection Board of the B’ DYPE/E.S.Y. and an alternate member of the examination board of the specialty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has served as Vice President of the Child Psychiatric Society of Greece (2012-13) and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Society for the Study of ADHD. Since October 2020, by decision of the Minister of Health, he has been appointed to the position of Deputy Vice President of the Hellenic Centre for Mental Health and Research (Hellenic Centre for Mental Health and Research).
