Roman Ciesielski

PhD

Roman specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry and environmental psychiatric care.
He is a certified psychotherapist and supervisor at the Department of Scientific Psychotherapy of the Polish Psychiatric Association, a hypnotherapist of the Ericksonian method (Zist, Germany), a psychotherapist of the open dialogue approach (Institut für Sozialpsychiatrie Mecklenburg, Germany) and a certified psychotherapist and trainer of Positive and Intercultural Psychotherapy (WAPP, Wiesbaden, Germany).
Roman is president of the Polish Association for the Development of Psychotherapy, a member of the Board of Directors for Intercultural and Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP, Wiesbaden) and editor of Intercultural Positive Psychotherapy.
He worked at the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical University in Poznań (1994-2006) and later was the head of the Day Care Centre for Children with Psychiatric and Speech Disorders in Wroclaw (2010-2015). He has been the director of the Institute of Psychotherapy in Wroclaw since 2010.
