The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Professor Graham Baldwin, sent his greetings to all ICPS students ahead of the start of the new academic year. His greeting includes important messages for students, the progress of the collaboration between the two institutions and the new opportunities that are opening up for ICPS students.
The Rector expressed his great joy for the start of the new academic year and warmly welcomed all students studying at ICPS and UCLan's academic programmes. He noted that the curricula offered at ICPS are based on world-class research, ensuring that students are taught in state-of-the-art curricula.
UCLan's partnership with ICPS has been in place for 18 years and is constantly evolving and expanding. "We look forward to continuing to build on this strong partnership as we know that in the years to come it will offer even more opportunities for our students.", said the Rector.
He also emphasised his pride in UCLan's educational community, stressing the importance of providing equal opportunities for all students to succeed and excel in a modern and competitive world. He highlighted the history of the University of Central Lancashire, which dates back to in 1828 and is intertwined with its mission to help people from around the world develop and reach their full potential.
He also thanked the staff of both institutions for their hard work and commitment to the academic progress of last year's graduates, acknowledging their significant contribution to the success of the students.
"We are very proud of you as students and want to welcome you to the global UCLan community." he concluded his message, and wished the students good luck for the year ahead.
