Privacy Policy Implementation Policy

1. Purpose of this policy

This policy explains how the Organization may collect information about its visitors/users/students/students and how it uses it to meet educational and regulatory requirements.

It also describes some of the security measures the Agency takes to protect data confidentiality and provides some safeguards for things the Agency will not do.

2. Legal and regulatory framework

The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user/student/alumni of the Agency's services is subject to the terms of this section as well as the relevant provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - Regulation (EU) 20106/679), on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data as supplemented by the decisions of the President of the Data Protection Committee and other relevant laws and provisions.

These terms are formulated taking into account both the rapid development of technology and in particular the Internet and the existing - albeit not fully developed - legal framework on these issues. In this context, any possible relevant regulation will be the subject of this section. In any case, the Agency reserves the right to change the terms of protection of personal data after informing visitors/users/students/students, within the existing or potential legal framework.

If a visitor/user/student/alumni does not agree with the terms of protection of personal data provided in this section, he/she must not use the services of the Agency.

3. Commitment

The Agency considers the protection of the privacy and data of visitors/users/students/graduates to be of the utmost importance and is committed to providing all visitors/users/students/graduates with personalised educational services that meet their requirements and in a way that safeguards their privacy.

4. Collection of personal information

Personal information about you is collected from many sources, including:
(a) from you when you agree to receive a service from our organisation and in this case may include your personal and/or business contact details,
(b) by you when you contact our organisation with a request for information; and
(c) from publicly available sources.

5. Intellectual and industrial property rights

Apart from the expressly mentioned exceptions (copyright of third parties, partners and institutions), all the content of the Agency's website, including images, graphics, photographs, drawings and texts, the services provided and generally all the files of this website (site), constitute intellectual property, registered trademarks and service marks of the Agency and are protected according to the relevant provisions of Greek law, European law and international conventions.
Accordingly, none of them may be sold, copied, modified, reproduced, republished, downloaded, transmitted or distributed in any way, in whole or in part.

6. Use of information

The information you provide to the Agency and held by the Agency may be used to:
(a) To verify your identity when you ask questions,
(b) To help us manage and communicate with you about improving the management of the services provided by the Agency in the past, present or future,
(c) To conduct marketing analysis and create student profiles and generate statistical information,
(d) To assist the Agency in preventing and detecting fraud or loss; and
(e) To communicate with you, by any means (including mail, email, telephone, etc.) about other services and products offered by the Agency, and authorized selected partners.
(f) To manage the educational needs of the students and of the Organization, both at the level of the Organization itself and in synergy with partner universities abroad or other professional and educational institutions.

7. Use of e-mail (e-mail)

The following information is requested for the allocation of an e-mail address to the user/student/alumni for access to specific services of the Agency:
(a) Full name
(b) Business name, if required,
(c) Address/Headquarters - Postal Code - Telephone - City - Country, and
(d) E-mail address (e- mail).
This information is not disclosed to third parties.
The holder of the e-mail address must keep the password to it confidential and not disclose it to third parties.
The Agency does not control the content of the e-mails sent by users/students through the e-mail address provided by the Network.
The Agency shall keep a record of the above e-mail addresses and may send messages of an informative, financial and educational nature to the holders of the e-mail addresses, unless they do not wish to do so, but only as regards the sending of messages not related to their attendance at the Agency, as specified in the financial arrangement, the private registration agreement and the general terms of the agreements accompanying them.
Each use of the e-mail address by its holder is accompanied by an information note informing him/her about the security and protection of the data he/she sends or receives and the handling of relevant problems or issues.
The storage and general processing of personal data will be valid for as long as required by the current regulatory framework, as well as by the needs of the educational process.

8. Disclosure of information

Under no circumstances does our Organization distribute your personal information to third parties. Under no circumstances does it sell, or rent your personal data to third parties. This data is used exclusively by our Organization to continuously improve our service to you. The company may only disclose information if legally requested for legal or regulatory purposes as part of legal proceedings and/or potential legal action.

9. Protection of information

Our organization maintains strict security measures and controls to protect your personal information. This includes a set of administrative measures, security policies, procedures and practices, including but not limited to, verifying your identity when you call us, encrypting data on our websites, backing up data to off-site locations to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.

10. Internet access

If you contact the Agency via the Internet, we may occasionally use e-mail to contact you about our services. You should be aware that Internet communications, including, but not limited to, emails, are not secure unless they are encrypted. The Agency is not responsible for any unauthorized access or loss of your personal information that is beyond its control.

10.1 Cookies and Pixel Tags

The Cookies

Cookies are small data files that are sent to your browser when you visit a website. We use cookies to do a few different things:

  • Remember your preferences and corresponding settings

  • To better understand how people use our services, and to help improve and promote them based on this information

Pixel Tags (Pixel Tags)

A pixel tag ("pixel") is a small piece of code that can be embedded in web pages and emails. We may use pixels and cookies to learn how you interact with our web pages and emails. This information helps us, and the third party service providers we use, to better market our services. For example, if you visit one of the third-party providers' pages, you may later see an update about them.

We may use cookies to track the movement of the user of our website. After you accept them, if you wish, you can change your browser settings to prevent acceptance of cookies or delete them completely. However, rejecting cookies may affect your ability to use some of the services on our Organization's website. We reserve the right to refuse the use of all or part of them. The retention of cookies by our Agency takes place until they expire or are deleted. You can withdraw your consent to the use of cookies at any time. You should note that this website may contain links or references to other websites. You should be aware that we do not control the cookies/tracking technologies of other websites and this Cookie Policy does not apply to those websites.

11. The monitoring of communications

All Agency communications with you (including telephone conversations, e-mails, etc.) may be monitored and recorded by the Company for security, quality assurance, and legal, regulatory and training purposes.

12. What are your rights?

Under the new General Data Protection Regulation {EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - Regulation (EU) 2016/679}, as applicable, you have the right to information, access and object. That is, you have the right to receive, upon request, free of charge, information about the stored personal data concerning you. Furthermore, you have the right to object, upon request, to the processing of your personal data, with effect for the future. In addition, you have, in accordance with the legal provisions, the right to rectification, blocking (locking) and deletion of the data in question. In these cases, please contact in writing or by e-mail the competent Data Protection Department of the Agency, indicated below. In case you have given your consent to receive our Organization's newsletter, you may withdraw it at any time by choosing to stop receiving the newsletter, through the relevant instructions contained in this electronic version.

13. Applicable law and other terms

The above terms and conditions of use of the Agency, as well as any amendment, change or alteration thereof, are governed and supplemented by Greek law, the law of the European Union and the relevant international treaties. Any provision of the above terms that is contrary to the law shall automatically cease to be in force and shall be removed from these terms, without in any way affecting the validity of the other terms. The present constitutes the entire agreement between the Agency and the visitor/user/student/subscriber of its pages and services and is binding only on them. No modification of these terms will be considered and will not form part of this agreement unless it is in writing and incorporated herein.
